Texas Start Students, LLC Terms of Use

The following Terms of Use is a legal contract between an individual user and Texas Start Students, LLC defining the rules and acceptable behavior for the website and services.

Introduction

Please read these terms of use carefully. By accessing our site or using our services, you acknowledge that you understand, agree, and are bound by these terms.


Modification of Terms

At our discretion, Texas Start Students, LLC may edit, add, or remove parts of this agreement. If we do make changes to these Terms of Use, we will make a reasonable effort to provide notice.


Prohibited Conduct

You are solely responsible for your conduct while on our site, and agree to abide by all laws, contracts, intellectual property and third-party rights.

Booking Virtual Tutorial Sessions

All small-group sessions are booked in 5 sessions at a time. The first session time will be booked on the Setmore Booking Site, the remaining four (4) sessions will be booked at a later date in accord with the tutor availability. You may cancel/reschedule your booking up to 8 hours from the start time of the small-group or private session. Rescheduling/Cancellation after the allotted timeframe will result in a “No Show” and the one (1) hour session will not be eligible for rescheduling and a refund will not be offered*This will be determined by the owner of Texas Star Students on a case by case basis. Please use an email address that you and your child can access regularly, and you check regularly for tutor communication. Your tutor will contact you about how they will host the virtual tutoring session. Please take a moment to watch the introduction video for the specific type of virtual meeting platform that they will host their virtual tutorials BEFORE your tutorial session. All tutoring sessions are recorded for quality purposes. By booking with us you understand and agree with this measure of protection for TSS, tutors, and students.



Virtual Student & Parent Etiquette

Please mute yourself when you come into the tutorial session. Please have your camera on when you come into the meeting to confirm your identity. If you choose to mute your camera afterward because you are not yet comfortable, we understand and do not require it. We encourage you to use the tools available in your virtual learning session i.e. Raise your hand, thumbs up, hand clap.


Termination

Texas Start Students, LLC reserves the right to terminate access to our site and block future use of our services if we deem these Terms of Use have been violated.
